M's birthday is tomorrow. To commemorate his turning a whole 24 we were going to have a bad house party involving four birthday peoples, but are instead (as far as things are shaping now) going to a warehouse party in Elephant and Castle.

I'm pretty excited about my gifts, despite the fact they don't quite surpass the Badger (which, lets face it, is probably the best thing I'll ever get him):

1. Herzog by Saul Bellow (did I cry when I heard he died? o yes.)
2. A vintage leather belt that's totally worn in and comfy without looking like the animal it was carved out of just threw it up. (which is an unnecessary way of saying it's old, but not shit.)
3. An alarm clock that you can RECORD YOUR OWN VOICE ONTO! Am I ashamed it's Ikea? Yes. That place scares the living crap out of me, it's enormous and labrinthine and screams BUY! BUY! BUY! But DUDE! It's a RECORDABLE ALARM CLOCK! Voices, underpasses, birds singing, glass breaking.. Whatevs, it's great!

****meep is 25 in SEVEN DAYS!
